Fire and Candle Safety

Candles are an integral part of your Magik workings, and we believe it is particularly important that all candles are burned responsibly to ensure their safe use. Please follow the below candle burning guidelines:

• Never leave a lit candle unattended at any time, always keep within sight
• When burning candle indoors, keep away from drafts, other heat sources and any flammable objects or materials such as curtains and Altar Cloths
• Do not move candles while they are lit
• Always keep a lit candle out of reach of young children and pets
• Always place a lit candle on a solid, stable surface that is heat resistant
• If smoking occurs, safely extinguish the flame with a candle snuffer, trim the wick, remove the trimmings, and relight the candle
• Keep wax pool away from trimmings, matches or any foreign that may be combustible as this may cause a fire hazard
• When finished with all candle, please extinguish carefully and safely
